Our 100% grass-fed certified organic cattle are fed organic grass for the rest of their lives. The feed is herbicide- and pesticide-free. In summer, the cattle have free access to pasture, and in winter, our farmers feed them organic hay grown during the summer. Organic certification covers not only feed, but also animal welfare. Water, pasture and hay, barn space and hygiene, quality of care, general living conditions, transport and even slaughter all have to meet the high standards of the certificate.
