Safe Catch tuna is traceable from catch to can, and we only buy from captains whose fish come from managed, sustainable tuna stocks.
Thanks to our exclusive technology, we are able to test every fish for its mercury content. If it doesn't meet our purity standards, we don't buy it. It may still be a good tuna, but it's not a Safe Catch tuna.
Our limit for Safe Catch Élite wild tuna is dis times (10x) more stringent than the FDA's mercury action limit.
Other canned tuna lose their flavor and omega 3s through mechanical processing. We hand-pack pure, raw tuna steaks to retain maximum nutrients, then slow-cook them to perfection.
